Mumbai: Actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly received a fresh threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, delivered in a chilling audio message on Friday. Released by a man who identified himself as Harry Boxer, a senior figure in the gang, the recording also targeted filmmaker Rohit Shetty.

This marks the third such recording released by Boxer, underscoring what investigators describe as a sustained campaign of intimidation against Bollywood’s leading figures. In the latest clip, Boxer identifies himself as a representative of the Bishnoi syndicate and directs his ire at Singh, referencing a past dispute in which the actor allegedly reneged on a promise. He warned that Singh’s “next seven generations” would suffer the consequences.

Perhaps most disturbing is the gangster’s focus on Singh’s support network. Boxer claimed to possess detailed knowledge of the families, office routines, and residences of the actor’s managers and employees. He threatened that these individuals would be targeted first, a tactic seemingly designed to break Singh’s resolve by striking at those closest to him.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty was also singled out, with Boxer warning him, and the wider Bollywood community, to “fall in line” when approached by the gang. He mocked Singh’s decision to seek police protection, insisting that reporting the threats would not hinder the syndicate’s reach.

The threats come amid a dramatic twist in the ongoing Rohit Shetty firing case, with the crime branch tracing evidence back to the Bishnoi gang. Security agencies are now analysing the latest audio clip, as the industry remains on high alert following a string of similar threats linked to the syndicate over the past year.
