How to get NEET UG 2026 fee refund from NTA after exam cancellation
The National Testing Agency has activated the NEET UG 2026 fee refund portal for students affected by the cancellation of the earlier examination, with candidates required to submit their bank details online before May 27.
Eligible students can now submit their bank account details through the official website to receive the refund amount directly into their accounts.
The online refund process began on May 22, 2026, and candidates must complete the procedure before the deadline on May 27, 2026.
How students can apply for NEET fee refund
Candidates can complete the refund process through the official NEET website by following these steps:
Visit the official portal: neet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the “NEET 2026 Refund Portal” link
- Log in using the application number and password or date of birth
- Enter bank account details carefully
- Fill in IFSC code, account number and bank name
- Upload a cancelled cheque copy if required
- Submit the refund request form
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference
NTA has clarified that the refund process is fully online.
Who is eligible for the refund?
The refund facility is available only for candidates who:
Successfully completed the original NEET UG 2026 registration
Paid the application fee successfully during the initial registration process
Students who did not complete payment or registration may not be eligible for the refund.

Many candidates have reported temporary technical issues while accessing the refund portal due to heavy traffic on the website.
