Spot Round M.Tech. Counselling at ABV-IIITM Gwalior

ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM), Morena Link Road, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh - 474 015, has invited applications for admission to various M.Tech Programs for 2023-24 against the seats vacant after the CCMT counselling rounds. 

The Programs are (i) M.Tech in VLSI and Embedded Systems offered by the Department of EEE (ii) M.Tech in Information and Cyber Security (IS) offered by the Department of CSE and (iii) M.Tech in  Wireless Networks and Computing offered by the Department of Information Technology (IT). 

The aim of the specialized programmes is to equip students to tackle real life problems in industrial fields as well as to excel in higher academics through research in their respective disciplines and also to give students much wider exposure to their specialized courses in terms of laboratories, research projects etc. 

Eligibility: Admission to different M.Tech. programmes will be governed by the rules and eligibility criteria given on CCMT website. Different M.Tech. programs consider selected preceding degrees/branches and GATE papers for admissions. Details of qualifying criteria are available at the Notification link. 

Candidates should have minimum 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale) for Gen/EWS/OBC-NCL and 55% marks (or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST/PwD in the qualifying degree aggregate of all semesters/years. Candidates should have passed Mathematics in 10+2 level. 

Application: Application can be submitted at the link provided at the Notification link at https://iiitm.ac.in/ by August 18, 2023 (Friday). 

On-spot M.Tech. counselling will be held on August 19, 2023 (Saturday). 

Admission Process: The committee conducting admission will recommend the suitable candidates for the admission, based on the GATE score and number of seats available. Result will be declared on August 21, 2023 (Monday)

Special Provisions:  M.Tech students are eligible to continue to the Ph.D. programme based on eligibility and norms of the institute. Selected candidates admitted to the M.Tech. programme shall be entitled for fellowship as per the GoI norms. Students will be provided accommodation in hostels as per institute norms as this is a residential programme.
