Thiruvananthapuram: The results of the second phase opinion poll, jointly conducted by Mathrubhumi News and P-MARQ (Politique Marquer), were unveiled on Tuesday. The results, covering six Lok Sabha constituencies, suggest that the UDF is poised for victory in Kerala.

According to the results, UDF candidate K Muraleedharan will secure 34 percent of the votes in Thrissur. LDF’s V.S. Sunilkumar, who stood first in the first phase of opinion poll, is in the second position in the second phase by winning 32 percent of votes. Meanwhile, NDA candidate Suresh Gopi will get 31 percent votes, according to the survey results, corroborating the narrative that the Thrissur constituency will witness a triangular contest.

In Mavelikkara, UDF candidate Kodikunnil Suresh leads with 41 percent of the votes, closely followed by LDF candidate CA Arunkumar with 40 percent. Similarly, in Attingal, UDF candidate Adoor Prakash is expected to secure 34 percent of the votes, with LDF candidate V Joy and NDA candidate V Muraleedharan trailing with 33 percent and 29 percent respectively.

Rahul Gandhi is projected to secure 60 percent of the votes in Wayanad, while in Kottayam, Kerala Congress (Mani faction) is predicted to face defeat. Francis George from the UDF is favored for victory.
