Riot Games has rolled out Valorant Patch 11.06, introducing two major updates that fundamentally improve the player experience, a massive ban wave targeting bots and the launch of the much-anticipated Replay System for PC players.

Crackdown on Bots: 40,000 Accounts Banned

In recent months, Riot has intensified its efforts to clamp down on bot accounts that disrupt gameplay, especially in lower ranks. The latest ban wave has successfully removed 40,000 bot accounts from the game, seriously reducing the presence of automated players and improving match quality for millions around the world.

Introducing the Replay System: A Game-Changer for Analysis

The introduction of the Replay System provides players with powerful new tools to review and analyse their matches. Available for Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay, and Premier modes on PC, this system allows full control over match playback. Players can watch games from all ten participants’ first-person perspectives, enabling them to study enemy and teammate play styles in detail. The replay feature supports pausing, time-jumping, and even toggling visibility of utility projectiles like Sova’s Recon Dart. However, it only supports matches played on the current patch, and replays from previous versions are not accessible. Riot plans to refine and expand replay capabilities based on community feedback over time.

Platform-Specific Fixes and Updates

Alongside these headline features, the patch also delivers several quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. Notably, the RawInputBuffer setting was removed on PC to standardise input performance, while console users saw fixes addressing item highlight display issues. Minor bugs related to Agent abilities, including Yoru and Reyna's invisibility mechanics, were also resolved.

Enhancing Competitive and Esports Experience

As Valorant continues to grow within the esports and gaming communities, these updates are expected to elevate competitive gameplay and post-match analysis. The Replay System will serve as a vital tool for players and teams seeking to improve, while the ban wave reassures the player base of Riot’s dedication to clean, fair matches.
