Samsung has officially opened sales for its next-generation foldable smartphones in India. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 7 5G, and the more affordable Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE are now available for purchase across the country, starting Friday, July 25. Alongside these foldables, the newly launched Galaxy Watch 8 series is also on sale.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 5G: Specifications, colours, and pricing

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 5G comes with a large main display measuring 20.31 cm (20.24 cm with rounded corners) and a 16.48 cm sub-display (16.42 cm with rounded corners), both supporting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, which brings an octa-core CPU with peak speeds of up to 4.47GHz.

In the camera department, the Fold 7 is equipped with a triple rear setup featuring a 200MP primary lens, a 12MP secondary sensor, and a 10MP tertiary lens. It also includes two 10MP cameras—one on the front and another as the cover camera. Battery capacity is rated at 4,400mAh.

The smartphone is offered in three storage configurations:

  • ₹1,74,999 for 256GB with 12GB RAM
  • ₹1,86,999 for 512GB with 12GB RAM
  • ₹2,16,999 for 1TB with 16GB RAM

Colour choices include Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jetblack, and Mint.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 5G: New display and performance upgrades

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 5G brings a larger and more useful 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow on the outer shell, offering quicker access to messages, apps, and widgets. Internally, the device unfolds into a 6.9-inch display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate.

Powering the device is the Exynos 2500 chipset built on a 3nm process. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants—256GB and 512GB. The battery capacity stands at 4,300mAh.

On the camera front, the Flip 7 includes a 50MP wide lens and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor on the back, with a 10MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Prices are as follows:

  • ₹1,09,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model
  • ₹1,21,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant

Buyers can choose from Blue Shadow, Coral Red, Jetblack, and Mint colours.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE 5G: Affordable foldable with premium features

Catering to users seeking a foldable experience at a lower cost, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE 5G sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED main display and a compact 3.4-inch outer screen. Despite being a more budget-friendly option, it retains core features such as FlexCam, Now Brief, and wireless charging.

The device is powered by the Exynos 2400 processor and includes a dual-camera setup at the rear, comprising a 50MP wide lens and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, there's a 10MP front-facing camera. A 4,000mAh battery powers the device.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is available in two storage options:

  • ₹89,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model
  • ₹95,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model

Colour variants include Black and White.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series: Price details

Samsung has also released its latest smartwatch range alongside the foldables. The Galaxy Watch 8 comes in both Bluetooth and LTE variants. The 40mm Bluetooth model is priced at ₹32,999, while the LTE version costs ₹36,999. The larger 44mm variant is priced at ₹35,999 for Bluetooth and ₹39,999 for LTE.

For those preferring a classic design, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is available in a 46mm size. The Bluetooth version is priced at ₹46,999, and the LTE model is available at ₹50,999.
