Mumbai: Motorola on Wednesday, 30 July, 2025, officially launched its new lower-mid-range smartphone, the Moto G86 Power, in India. Priced at Rs 16,999 for its sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, the device will go on sale through Flipkart and Motorola's official websites on August 6, 2025.

The Moto G86 Power is designed to offer a robust user experience, powered by the efficient MediaTek Dimensity 7400 4nm chipset or the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 (4 nm) (as per GSM Arena), both promising smooth performance. It runs on Hello UI, based on Android 15, ensuring a modern and intuitive interface. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM, which can be virtually expanded up to 24GB with RAM Boost 3.0, and 128GB of expandable internal storage, providing ample space for applications and media. Additional storage options of 256GB with 8GB RAM, 256GB with 12GB RAM, and 512GB with 12GB RAM, also expandable via microSDXC.

A standout feature is its vibrant 6.67-inch P-OLED display. Both sources confirm a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and an impressive 4500 nits peak brightness, ensuring excellent visual clarity and fluidity. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

For photography, the Moto G86 Power sports a versatile camera system. It features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and dual pixel PDAF. This is complemented by an 8MP ultrawide camera, which also includes a macro vision lens, adding to its photographic capabilities. Both the rear and a high-resolution 32MP front-facing camera are capable of recording stunning 4K video.

Powering the device is a substantial 6,720mAh battery, offering up to 53 hours of usage, supported by 33W TurboPower charging.

Durability is also a key highlight, as the Moto G86 Power comes with IP68/IP69 water and dust protection, complies with MIL-STD-810H standards, and features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for screen protection. Other notable features include immersive audio with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, convenient Moto Gestures, and extensive connectivity with support for 13 5G bands.

The Moto G86 Power is available in Cosmic Sky, Golden Cypress, and Spellbound colours, all finished with a premium vegan leather texture.
