The device also features a secondary 2D multifunctional AMOLED screen for quick notifications and controls.
Innovative Action Button and AI Capabilities
One of the Agni 4’s standout features is its customizable action button, inspired by the iPhone’s design, allowing users to assign over 100 shortcut actions such as launching apps, toggling the flashlight, or activating the camera with simple gestures like short press, double press, or long press. Lava’s in-house AI platform, Vayu AI, empowers enhanced imaging, user interaction, and smart photography adjustments, elevating the user experience further.
Camera System for Photography Enthusiasts
The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens housed in a horizontal pill-shaped module. The front camera boasts a 32MP punch-hole sensor, both capable of recording 4K video at 30fps, positioning the Agni 4 as a strong contender for mobile photography enthusiasts at this price point.
Built to Last with Indian Conditions in Mind
Durability has been prioritised with an aluminium alloy frame, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and an IP69 dust resistance rating. The device supports wet-touch controls for easy use in humid or wet environments and includes a massive 7,000mAh battery capable of fast charging up to 80W. Available in Phantom Black and Lunar Mist White, the Agni 4 promises three years of Android updates and four years of security patches, along with a bloatware-free user interface.
Made in India, for India
Lava designs, develops, and manufactures the Agni 4 entirely in India at its facilities capable of producing 42 million units annually, underscoring the brand’s commitment to local innovation and manufacturing growth. This launch follows Lava’s remarkable 156% year-over-year growth in the budget segment, bolstering its reputation as one of India’s fastest-growing smartphone brands.
