Gamers and dance enthusiasts are in for a treat as LG Electronics (LG) and Ubisoft have joined forces to bring the globally popular rhythm and dance game, Just Dance Now, directly to LG Smart TVs — no gaming console required.

The official trailer will premiere at Paris Games Week 2025, ahead of the game’s sequential rollout from December 2025 via the LG Gaming Portal in North America and Europe.

With more than 135 million players worldwide, Just Dance Now has redefined the rhythm gaming genre. The new collaboration allows LG Smart TV owners (webOS 22 or later) to dive straight into the world of energetic choreography and hit songs from across the globe.

To mark the launch, LG users will gain exclusive access to a limited-time dance map for the viral track Money Pull Up, which has already garnered tens of millions of streams. Moreover, users can play for free each day, enjoying a selection of songs, or upgrade through subscriptions and song packs for extended access.

Making gameplay even more seamless, players can simply use the LG Magic Remote to track their dance moves — eliminating the need for separate controllers. The remote’s motion-sensing technology ensures smooth and accurate movement detection, turning any living room into a vibrant dance floor.

“Our collaboration with LG Electronics is a great way for more people to play Just Dance Now through the LG webOS smart TV platform,” said Amelie Louvet, Brand Director at Ubisoft Paris Studio. “With Just Dance Now, LG Smart TVs become a space for families and friends to move together to the world’s biggest hits.”

Chris Jo, head of LG’s webOS Platform Business Center, added: “By working with partners like Ubisoft, we’re evolving the LG Gaming Portal into the ultimate destination for immersive gaming experiences.”

Before the full launch, Just Dance Now will debut in beta version in select markets, including France, allowing players to test the experience with three songs on day one and new songs daily for two weeks.
