Krafton is set to release the much-anticipated BGMI 3.8 update in India on Thursday, May 15, 2025. The update will roll out gradually across Android and iOS devices, meaning players might receive it at different times depending on their region or device model.

What’s new in BGMI 3.8?

The highlight of version 3.8 is the "Steampunk Frontier Theme Mode", inspired by the anime Attack on Titan. This themed update introduces exciting gameplay features and new strategic elements, especially on the Erangel map, where two new hot drop locations near the Shooting Range and Mylta promise exclusive loot and intense battles.

Key features:

Giant Potion: A game-changing item that temporarily turns players into giants, similar to Titans from the anime. Teammates can even ride on your shoulder!

Mechanical Hook: Think Spider-Man! This tool lets players swing across areas quickly, adding speed and fresh tactical options.

Loot Trains: Two moving trains packed with rare loot and weapons will now appear on the map, offering mobile hotspots for high-risk, high-reward action.

  • Once the update goes live:
  • Head to the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS)
  • Ensure your device has at least 2GB of free storage
  • Make sure your game is updated to the latest version before May 15 to avoid issues.

Rules to remember:
