However, their efforts to keep their kids out of the public eye were recently challenged when a viral video from the India vs Australia Test match in Perth sparked online speculation.

In the photo, Anushka was seen enthusiastically cheering for Team India while seated in the stands at Optus Stadium. Directly behind her, a man was spotted holding an infant, leading fans to assume that the baby was Akaay, the couple’s second child. The infant, dressed in a blue outfit, drew comparisons to Kohli’s childhood pictures, further fueling the speculation.

Despite the widespread assumptions, sources confirmed that the baby in the viral footage was not Akaay. The clarification comes amidst growing concerns from fans about the breach of the couple’s repeated requests for privacy regarding their children. Many took to social media to criticize the broadcasters for their perceived negligence.

Anushka and Virat, who tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2017, welcomed their first child, Vamika, in 2021. When questioned about sharing photos of Vamika, Kohli publicly stated that the couple would not expose their children to social media until they are old enough to make their own decisions. In February this year, the pair welcomed their son, Akaay.
