Kochi: The Kerala team for the Santosh Trophy National Football Tournament will be coached by Bino George, informed Kerala Football Association (KFA) Secretary P Anil Kumar. T G Purushothaman has been appointed as the assistant coach.

The Santosh Trophy South Zone Regional Round matches will be held in November.

Bino is currently the coach of the Kerala United team and also previously managed Gokulam FC.

KFA also announced that the team selection for the tournament will take place soon. Previously, Bino George was the coach of the Kerala team that qualified for the final round of the Santosh Trophy. However, KFA abandoned the matches after the onset of Covid-19 last year.
