Peravoor (Kannur): Kudakkachira Mary George (87), the mother of volleyball icon Jimmy George, passed away on Monday evening due to age-related ailments at her residence in Thondi here. Late Adv. George Joseph was her husband.
Kodakachira Mary George is survived by her children: Jose George, Mathew George, Sebastian George, Annie Maria George, Francis Baiju George, Stanley George, Winston George, Robert Bobby George, and Sylvia George.

The final rites and burial will take place on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Joseph's Church Cemetery in Peravoor.
