Kochi: Kerala Blasters have signed young Australian striker Jaushua James Elie Sotirio. Jaushua, a former U23-International, inked a two-year contract with the Blasters.

The move from the Kerala side came in the wake of their preparation ahead of the new season.

The 27-year-old Sydney native began his professional career at Western Sydney Wanderers and spent the next six seasons at the club. He also played for Wellington Phoenix and Newcastle Jets.

Blasters roped in Joshua as a replacement for Apostolos Giannou, who left the club at the end of the season.
