India ended its Commonwealth Games boxing campaign on a high, finishing with an impressive haul of five gold medals and two silver medals on Saturday to underline its strength in the ring.

The country's gold rush was led by Jaismine Lamboria, Preeti Pawar, Sakshi Chaudhary, Arundhati Choudhary and Priya Ghanghas, who emerged champions in their respective weight categories. Olympic medallist Lovlina Borgohain and Jadumani Singh added to India's tally with silver medals after finishing runners-up in their finals.

The day began with Preeti Pawar producing a dominant display to outclass Canada's Scarlett Delgado 5-0 in the women's 54kg final. The World No. 3 controlled the bout from the opening round, with all five judges scoring it 10-8 in her favour before she sealed India's first boxing gold of the day.

Reigning world champion Jaismine Lamboria followed with another commanding performance, defeating defending champion Michaela Walsh of Northern Ireland 5-0 in the women's 57kg final. After edging a closely fought opening round, Jaismine took complete control of the contest to secure the gold.

India's golden run continued when Sakshi Chaudhary outclassed England's Ruby White 5-0 in the women's 51kg final, while Arundhati Choudhary registered a flawless 5-0 victory over England's Chantelle Reid in the women's 70kg final.

Priya Ghanghas completed India's golden sweep in the women's events, defeating Canada's Marie-Bathoul Al-Ahmadieh 4-1 in a hard-fought women's 60kg final.

Olympic bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain had to settle for silver after going down 1-4 to Australia's Emma-Sue Greentree in the women's 70kg final.

In the men's 55kg final, Jadumani Singh also finished with silver after losing 0-5 to Australia's Jye Dixon. Jadumani had taken the opening round 3-2 against his taller opponent, but Dixon responded strongly to win the next two rounds and claim the title.

India's five golds and two silvers capped an outstanding boxing campaign, with the women's contingent leading the charge and reinforcing the country's growing dominance on the Commonwealth stage.
