Thiruvananthapuram: As the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) at Kariavattom enters its final phase, the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has set up a vibrant Fan Village to heighten the excitement of cricket lovers. The initiative, launched during the festive Onam season, is located at Gate No. 5 of the Kariavattom Stadium. Entry is free for all visitors.

The Fan Village offers a range of activities for both children and adults, including mini cricket, bowling, darts, hoopla, and speed ball. Prizes have also been arranged for participants, alongside a variety of food stalls. The venue will be open daily from 2 p.m. onwards.

The Fan Village was inaugurated by Dr Divya S. Iyer, Managing Director of Vizhinjam International Seaport Limited(VISL). On the occasion, the official mobile application of the Kerala Cricket League was also launched. The app provides live match updates, photographs, and other tournament-related information.

Fans visiting the Fan Village can scan QR codes or participate in polls on the app to earn loyalty points, which can later be redeemed for merchandise.

KCA Secretary Vinod S. Kumar, former Secretary Sreejith V. Nair,CEO Minu Chidambaram, and Tournament Director Rajesh Thampy were among those present at the event.
