Police said Chirag Tyagi had left for his village, Basantpur Sathli Muradnagar, from a Delhi hostel earlier in the day.

Uttar Pradesh: The body of national para athlete Chirag Tyagi was recovered from Sai Upvan area under Kotwali police station limits on Saturday, police said.
Station House Officer (SHO) Kotwali Sachin Kumar confirmed the recovery and detailed the sequence of events leading to the discovery.
Left Delhi hostel in morning, body found later
Police said Chirag Tyagi had left for his village, Basantpur Sathli Muradnagar, from a Delhi hostel earlier in the day.
His body was later found in Sai Upvan, Ghaziabad. Police were informed at around 7 PM.
Back injury found, post-mortem awaited
Police said a hole was found on the back of the deceased.
Whether the injury was caused by a bullet or a blow from another object will be confirmed only after the post-mortem examination.
