English professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, better known by his ring name Pac, has died, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) announced on Sunday. He was 40.

Satterley, who was born in Newcastle upon Tyne on August 22, 1986, died on September 27, 2026. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed.

Known for his high-flying wrestling style and spectacular aerial attacks, Pac earned the nicknames "The Super Superman" and later "The Man That Gravity Forgot". He wrestled under the name Pac for much of his career before adopting the name Adrian Neville during his time with WWE.

AEW confirmed his death in a statement posted on X.

"All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organisations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans," AEW said.

Satterley began his professional wrestling career in 2004 in northeast England before establishing himself on the British independent circuit. He later competed internationally for promotions including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Ring of Honor and Chikara in the United States, as well as Japan's Dragon Gate.

His success in Dragon Gate included championship reigns with the Open the Brave Gate, Open the Triangle Gate and Open the Twin Gate titles.

Satterley joined WWE's developmental brand NXT in 2012 as Adrian Neville. He became the inaugural NXT Tag Team Champion with Oliver Grey and later won the title again with Corey Graves. He went on to capture the NXT Championship, becoming the first wrestler to hold both the NXT Championship and NXT Tag Team Championship.

After moving to WWE's main roster in 2015 as Neville, he later became a prominent figure in the company's cruiserweight division. He won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship twice and became its longest-reigning champion.

Satterley left WWE in 2018 and returned to Dragon Gate, where he won the Open the Dream Gate Championship and became associated with the R.E.D. faction. He adopted the moniker "The Bastard", which remained closely associated with him for the rest of his career.

In 2019, he signed with AEW and became part of the Death Triangle alongside Penta El Zero M and Rey Fénix. He later won the AEW International Championship and became a two-time AEW World Trios Champion.

At one point, Pac held the AEW International and World Trios championships simultaneously, becoming the first double champion in AEW history.
