Sources say that ardent Kohli fans are thinking of paying a tribute to the cricket star who retired from Test cricket on May 12, by wearing whites for today’s KKR clash.

Bengaluru: Officially retired from Test cricket, Virat Kohli is all set to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) again on May 17 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a much-anticipated IPL 2025 match. The tournament will restart after a week-long vacation, and this will be the first game.
According to sources, RCB supporters are gearing up to pay tribute to the star batter with a unique homage at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in recognition of his incredible Test career.
Fans are being encouraged to show their appreciation for Kohli's services to red-ball cricket by wearing white Test jerseys to the stadium, according to a fan-led campaign on X (previously Twitter).
