Riyadh: Cristiano Ronaldo once again demonstrated his enduring quality by scoring a bicycle kick for his Saudi Arabian club on Sunday.

The 40-year-old Portuguese superstar met a cross from the right wing with an acrobatic volley that was too powerful for the goalkeeper to stop, capping Al-Nassr's 4-1 win over Al Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo had just returned from international duty with Portugal, during which he was sent off against Ireland but celebrated his country qualifying for the World Cup. If he participates, it would mark a record sixth World Cup appearance.

"Best caption wins!" the 40-year-old Portuguese international wrote on X following his 96th-minute wonder strike at home against Al Khaleej.

The emphatic victory in Riyadh left Ronaldo's side four points clear at the top of the Saudi Pro League after nine matches. Fellow former Premier League stars João Félix and Sadio Mané were also on the scoresheet.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United star has yet to win a title since moving to the Saudi club nearly three years ago.
