Kochi: Mohun Bagan Super Giant secured a stunning 4-3 win over Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League match here on Wednesday. With this, the Blasters have lost in five of their last six matches in the league.
Bagan opened the scoring in the 4th minute through Armando Sadiku. In the second half, Vibin Mohanan found the equaliser in the 54th minute for the Blasters. However, Kerala's respite was short-lived as Bagan took the lead through Sadiku again.
However, Blasters came back strong three minutes later in the 63rd minute through Dimitrios Diamantakos to equalise. Five minutes later, the Kolkata side took the lead through a strike from Deepak Tangri. In the 97th minute, Bagan found the fourth goal through Jason Cummings. Though the home team managed one back in the 99th minute through Diamantakos, it was too late for the Kerala side.
