The City of Joy is bracing for another high-voltage Kolkata Derby as East Bengal FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant prepare to face each other in the Calcutta Football League (CFL) 2026-27 Super Six stage.

The Indian Football Association (IFA) has confirmed that the much-anticipated clash will take place on Monday, September 7, at 5 PM IST at Barasat Stadium.

Both Kolkata heavyweights have already qualified for the Super Six round after finishing among the top three teams in Group 1 during the league phase.

However, with their recent form pointing in different directions, East Bengal appear to have a slight advantage heading into the latest chapter of the rivalry.
