New Delhi: Kerala Blasters Football Club (KBFC) has made a significant acquisition by signing forward Noah Sadaoui to a two-year contract, extending his tenure with the club until 2026. He emerges as the club’s first foreign signing of the summer and will soon join his new teammates in Thailand to commence preseason preparations.

Noah Sadaoui, aged 30, boasts an impressive track record in the Indian Super League (ISL), having amassed 29 goals and 16 assists across 54 appearances over the past two seasons. His consistent goal-scoring prowess has swiftly established him as a standout figure in the league and one of its most dynamic players.

Born in Morocco, Noah embarked on his football journey with Wydad Casablanca's youth ranks before moving to the United States to join the PDA Academy, affiliated with MLS side New York Red Bulls. He flourished during his time in the US, contributing significantly to his college team's championship campaigns and earning accolades such as the All-MAAC First Team Honours.

Noah’s professional career gained momentum when he joined Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Haifa in 2013. He later clinched his first major trophy with South African outfit Ajax Cape Town (now Cape Town Spurs), where his decisive goals helped secure the 2015 MTN 8 title.

His journey continued with spells at Miami United in the National Premier Soccer League, Real CD Espana in Honduras, and Al-Khaburah SC in Oman, showcasing his versatility across different leagues and continents.

Expressing his enthusiasm about joining Kerala Blasters, Noah remarked, "I am really excited to join Kerala Blasters and be part of such a passionate club. The energy and support from the KBFC fans are simply incredible, and I cannot wait to play in front of them. I’m looking forward to contributing to the club’s success and being part of this exciting journey. Together, we can achieve great things and make our mark this season."

Noah’s impressive form continued during stints with Mirbat SC in Oman, Enppi SC in Egypt, and MC Oujda back in Morocco, before his recent tenure with Raja Casablanca and AS FAR, two of Morocco’s esteemed clubs. His international career highlights include pivotal appearances for Morocco in the 2021 African Nations Championship, where he played a crucial role in their championship victory.

Karolis Skinkys, the club's sporting director, expressed his satisfaction with the signing, stating, "I’m very happy Noah joined us to help reach our targets. We expect him to be one of the most important players in our team and one of the best in the league, as he has consistently shown in the ISL over the last two seasons. I appreciate his commitment to Kerala Blasters and believe this partnership will be highly successful." IANS
