Kerala Blasters to play all home matches at a new venue this ISL season, exciting fans across the state.

Kozhikode: Kerala Blasters will play in Kozhikode in the upcoming season, bringing major excitement to football fans in the Malabar region. The Kozhikode Corporation Stadium will serve as the club’s home ground in the Indian Super League (ISL).
The final stage of discussions was held between the Blasters management and the Kerala Football Association (KFA). KFA President Navas Meeran confirmed that the Blasters will play in Kozhikode.
The Blasters management is yet to sign the formal agreement with the KFA. Officials said the process will be completed soon. Club representatives recently inspected the Corporation Stadium. The management also responded positively in talks with District Football Association officials.
The ISL season begins on February 14. The club had been considering shifting matches to Kozhikode since 2019, but the move was delayed for various reasons. It has now been decided to shift all home matches to Kozhikode this season.
The team is expected to play six or seven home matches. The decision is part of cost-cutting measures. The Corporation stadium pitch was partially damaged after a Super Cross bike racing event. Restoration work is underway and will be completed before the ISL season begins.
