Balogun is scheduled to travel to Liverpool for his medical ahead of an official announcement before the transfer deadline.

London: Everton have agreed personal terms with AS Monaco forward Folarin Balogun on a four-year contract with an option for an additional year, as revealed by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. The 25-year-old United States international is set to complete his return to English football after the Merseyside club successfully negotiated contract details to secure manager David Moyes a new focal point for his attack.
Details of the €50m Package
The deal is structured around a fixed transfer fee of €45 million with a further €5 million in potential add-ons, according to Fabrizio Romano. Monaco have also secured a sell-on clause retaining a percentage of any future transfer fee. The package makes the striker the second most expensive player in USMNT history, trailing only Christian Pulisic, following his strong performances in Ligue 1 and at the international level.
Medical Scheduled Ahead of Official Sign-Off
With negotiations finalised across all parties, Balogun has been authorised to travel to Liverpool on Tuesday to undergo his official medical examination. The centre-forward leaves the French outfit having registered 31 goals and 13 assists across 91 appearances in all competitions. Upon completing his medical tests and signing his four-year contract, Everton are expected to formally announce Balogun's signing before the transfer deadline.
