Kochi: Kerala Blasters FC has announced that the team has extended its contract with Serbian football coach Ivan Vukomanovic till 2025. Vukomanovic is the man behind Kerala Blasters' rise in ISL 2022 season. Guided by him, the team reached the finals and significantly improved its performance compared to previous seasons.

Since Vukomanovic was inducted to Kerala Blasters, the vigour of the team witnessed a visible change. The team management has extended the contract three more years considering the historic achievement of the team during the season that just ended.

Interestingly, Vukomanovic not only guided the team to the finals but also became the epicentre of revitalising the team. It is important to note that the team scored the highest goals this season, grabbed the highest points, clinched the highest number of wins and witnessed the least number of losses.
