With Mumbai Indians already eliminated from playoff contention, the team will play their final match of the season against the Rajasthan Royals this Sunday.

Kolkata: Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee and assessed one demerit point for abusing cricket equipment after forcefully dislodging the bails during a frustrating spell in an Indian Premier League fixture against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Tournament officials determined that Pandya breached Level 1 of the IPL Code of Conduct when he "knocked the bails of the wicket with force while walking back to his run-up" during the contest on Wednesday at Eden Gardens, which Mumbai lost by four wickets.

Kolkata successfully chased down a target of 148 runs with seven deliveries remaining in the match. Pandya concluded his brief two-over bowling spell without securing a wicket while conceding 13 runs.
"Hardik Pandya was found to have breached Article 2.2 of the IPL's Code of Conduct, which pertains to 'abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during a Match'," the IPL said in a statement. "The incident occurred on the fourth ball of the 10th over of the second innings of the match, when Hardik Pandya, while walking back to his run-up, knocked the bails of the wicket with force."
Under league regulations, the accumulation of four to seven demerit points within a season triggers an automatic one-match suspension. Pandya acknowledged the infraction and formally accepted the disciplinary penalty issued by Match Referee Rajiv Seth.
The five-time champion Mumbai Indians have already been eliminated from postseason contention following a difficult tournament campaign in which the franchise has secured only four victories. The squad is scheduled to complete its schedule for the current edition of the tournament on Sunday against the Rajasthan Royals.
