The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday invited bids for the title sponsorship rights for its domestic tournaments and international home fixtures, with the current agreement with IDFC FIRST Bank set to expire soon.

In a release, the board announced the issuance of an Invitation to Tender (ITT), calling on eligible entities to participate in a competitive bidding process for the rights.

The ITT document can be obtained on payment of a non-refundable fee of ₹1 lakh, plus applicable GST. Interested bidders can purchase the document until August 4, while the final date for submitting clarification requests is August 5.

According to the BCCI, completed bid documents must be submitted by August 13. The announcement was made through a press release signed by BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia.

The board said the tender document, which outlines the eligibility criteria and terms of the bidding process, will be shared only after receipt and confirmation of the ITT fee.

It also clarified that purchasing the ITT does not automatically qualify an entity to participate in the bidding process. Only applicants that satisfy the eligibility requirements specified in the tender document will be permitted to submit bids.

The successful bidder will secure the title sponsorship rights for BCCI events, including all home international matches involving the Indian men's and women's teams, domestic competitions such as the Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy and Irani Cup, along with age-group tournaments.

IDFC FIRST Bank has held the title sponsorship rights since September 2023, with its current agreement running until August 2026. The bank is the existing title sponsor for all BCCI home international fixtures across Tests, ODIs and T20Is, as well as domestic tournaments.

Separately, Apollo Tyres continues as Team India's official lead partner and jersey sponsor.

The BCCI added that it reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the tender process at any stage without assigning any reason.

BCCI invites bids for associate partner rights

The cricket board has also issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ), inviting interested entities to bid for the associate partner rights for BCCI events.

The RFQ document will be available for a non-refundable fee of ₹1 lakh plus applicable GST. Interested parties can purchase the document until August 14, submit clarification requests by August 16, and file their quotation documents by August 25.

The BCCI said the RFQ, containing the eligibility criteria and detailed terms and conditions, will be shared only after confirmation of payment of the prescribed fee.

The winning bidder will receive the associate partner rights for BCCI events, covering home international matches involving the Indian men's and women's teams, domestic tournaments and age-group competitions. (PTI)
