Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the national squads for the upcoming home series against the West Indies, appointing Shubman Gill as captain of the 15-member One Day International (ODI) team. Senior stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli return to the ODI squad, with experienced wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul named as vice-captain. The ODI selection also features new faces including Gurnoor Brar, Auqib Nabi, and Naman Dhir. Pant will lead the red-ball side featuring Sarfaraz Khan as vice-captain, alongside international pace bowlers Akash Deep, Mukesh Kumar, and Mukesh Choudhary. The ROI squad highlights top domestic performers including Sanat Sangwan, Sudip Gharami, and spinner Manav Suthar, offering key contenders an opportunity to press for national selection ahead of the winter Test schedule.
