New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Thursday announced the schedule for the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2026, with the remaining league-stage matches set to be played from April 13 to May 24 across 12 venues in India.

A total of 50 matches will be held during this phase in cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamsala, Raipur and New Chandigarh.

The tournament will resume on April 13 with Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad, marking the start of a crucial stretch as teams battle for playoff spots.

As the league enters its decisive phase, competition is expected to intensify, with franchises vying for a place in the playoffs in the final weeks of the league stage.

The second phase will include eight double-headers, with afternoon matches scheduled from 3:30 PM IST and evening games from 7:30 PM IST.

In terms of venues, Punjab Kings will play their home matches in New Chandigarh and Dharamsala, including three fixtures in Dharamsala. Rajasthan Royals will host four matches in Jaipur, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru will split their home games between Bengaluru (three matches) and Raipur (two matches).

The BCCI said the venues for the playoffs will be announced at a later date.
