
Cape Town: Australia won the Women's T20 World Cup for the sixth time on Sunday when the reigning champions defeated South Africa by 19 runs in the final at Newlands.
Chasing 157 to win, the hosts were dismissed for 137-6 despite a top score of 61 from opener Laura Wolvaardt.
Opening batter Beth Mooney anchored the Australian innings of 156-6 with an unbeaten 74.
