Hangzhou: India clinched yet another gold at the ongoing Asian Games after its men’s kabaddi team defeated Iran in the final on Saturday. In the controversial final, the Indian side beat defending champions Iran 33-29.
The final was marred by terrible umpiring and questionable calls. Due to the old rule, India received four points, putting Iran in a difficult position in the end.
Earlier, India's women's kabaddi team helped the country surpass the landmark 100-medal mark when it overcame Chinese Taipei 26-25 in a thrilling final to win gold.
