19-year-old model Tijana Radonjic died in a parasailing accident in Montenegro. Disturbing footage shows her unbuckling her harness before falling.

A 19-year-old Serbian model, Tijana Radonjic, tragically fell to her death last week in a parasailing accident in the coastal town of Budva. Disturbing footage circulating on social media shows the teen frantically removing her life jacket and unbuckling her harness mid-air, seconds before plummeting over 160 feet into the Adriatic Sea according to the New York Post.
The incident occurred during what was supposed to be a recreational outing while Radonjic was on holiday in Montenegro with her aunt. Reports indicate she accepted a complimentary parasailing ride after being approached by a representative on the beach. Some sources also suggest that she may have been filming a promotional video for a local tourism company at the time.
Emergency services quickly responded, but it was later confirmed that Radonjic had died from the fall. Witnesses reported hearing her scream “Put me down” moments before she became visibly distressed. The footage shows her struggling with her safety restraints before tumbling upside down and disappearing from view.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident. While a panic attack is being considered as a possible cause, her family has called for a full inquiry into what led to the fatal mid-air ordeal.
Who was Tijana Radonjic?
Tijana Radonjic was an aspiring fashion model from Serbia who had recently begun gaining traction on social media for her lifestyle and style-focused content. Described as brave and full of life by those close to her, she had been enjoying a summer break in Montenegro when the fatal accident took place.
In a heartbreaking message, her parents, Branka and Goran, paid tribute to their daughter, writing, “We will never come to terms with this, nor accept that you are gone. You will remain in our hearts forever. Our bravest we love you endlessly and will be missed forever. Rest in peace and may the angels watch over you. Now you are one of them.”
Mirko Krdzic, the owner of the parasailing company, expressed his condolences and said the teen had shown no visible signs of fear before the flight. “We are all in shock after the accident that happened. I do not know exactly what happened,” he said. “She did not show any fear of flying, she underwent training, after which the tragedy followed. Technical inspections of all the equipment are underway, and the results of the autopsy are awaited.”
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
