With Woods now entering an inpatient treatment program and facing legal charges, he remains under significant pressure to recover while maintaining his relationship under these strict conditions.

Breaking days of intense media speculation, Vanessa Trump has publicly signalled her continued support for boyfriend Tiger Woods following his high-profile DUI arrest and rollover car accident on March 27.
The social media post, shared Friday evening, marks the first time Trump has addressed the situation since the golf legend’s Land Rover flipped in a collision with a pickup truck last week.
A Public Display of Solidarity
Taking to Instagram Stories, Trump posted a candid photo of the couple relaxing on a hammock. The image, which shows Trump resting her head on Woods' chest, was accompanied by a simple but pointed caption: "Love you", followed by two red heart emojis.
Industry insiders view the post as a strategic move to quell rumours of an impending split. Since the accident, tabloids have been rife with reports that the relationship was on the verge of collapse due to the nature of the arrest and Woods’ subsequent legal troubles.
Private Tensions and Firm "Ultimatums"
Despite the public display of affection, sources close to the couple suggest the atmosphere behind closed doors has been far more serious.
According to reports from TMZ and the Daily Mail, Trump was initially "angry and disappointed" when details of the crash emerged. While she is standing by him for now, sources claim she has laid down a strict "zero-tolerance" policy:
- The Health Mandate: Trump has reportedly demanded that Woods prioritise his rehabilitation and long-term health over a return to the green.
- The "Walk" Warning: Insiders allege that Trump made it clear she would "100 per cent walk" if any similar incidents occur in the future, effectively issuing a final warning to the 15-time major champion.
Road to Recovery
The arrest has sent shockwaves through the sports world. While Woods’ breathalyser test returned a 0.0 blood alcohol level, police reports noted he was "sweating profusely" and disoriented at the scene. Officers discovered prescription hydrocodone in his possession, leading to charges of DUI, property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
Woods has officially pleaded not guilty to the charges. On March 31, he announced he would be taking an indefinite leave of absence from professional golf to enter an inpatient treatment program.
The couple, who have been together since late 2024, had previously been seen as a stabilising force in each other's lives. For now, it appears that while the road to recovery is long, Woods will not be walking it alone.
