Kyiv: Two Wildberries warehouses were hit by Ukrainian drone strikes overnight in Russia’s St Petersburg and Tver regions, while another industrial site near Moscow was also damaged.

Wildberries, often described as Russia’s largest online marketplace, confirmed that one of its facilities in the St Petersburg region was damaged. Local officials also reported damage to another Wildberries-linked site in the Tver region.

Ukraine has targeted several Wildberries facilities in recent weeks, claiming the company’s warehouses support Russia’s military supply chain. Moscow has denied those claims.

Five killed in Moscow region attack

A drone strike on an industrial site in the Chekhov area of the Moscow region killed at least five people and injured 10 others, according to local officials.

Moscow region governor Andrei Vorobyov said a warehouse caught fire after the strike, with damage also reported to an electrical substation and an administrative building.

Officials said several injured people were receiving medical treatment.

Russia’s Defence Ministry said its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 320 Ukrainian drones overnight.

Ukraine has increasingly used long-range drones to target locations deep inside Russian territory, including energy facilities, storage sites and industrial infrastructure.

Russian strikes hit Ukrainian cities

At the same time, Russian strikes across Ukraine killed civilians and damaged infrastructure.

Ukrainian officials reported deaths and injuries in attacks on cities including Mykolaiv and Sumy. Emergency services said residential areas and other civilian facilities were affected.

The escalation has also increased concerns over security in the Black Sea, where attacks on shipping have raised fears about disruptions to global trade and food supplies.

Turkey has urged both Russia and Ukraine to ensure the safety of civilian navigation after drone attacks affected vessels linked to international shipping.

Both Russia and Ukraine continue to carry out drone attacks against each other’s territory as the war enters another phase of intensified strikes. The two sides deny intentionally targeting civilians and accuse each other of causing civilian casualties through military operations.
