A suspect has been arrested after shots were reportedly fired at US Vice President JD Vance’s Cincinnati residence early Monday.

Washington/Cincinnati: US law enforcement authorities have arrested a person suspected of intruding into and vandalising Vice President JD Vance’s residence in Cincinnati, Ohio.
According to a CNN report, one individual is in custody, and an investigation is currently underway following the incident at the vice president’s Ohio home.
The Vance family was not present at the residence at the time of the incident, the official said, adding that preliminary reports indicate the suspect did not enter the property.
According to local media reports, the incident damaged windows at the residence, though officials said it is still unclear exactly what occurred.
The authorities are probing whether the individual was specifically targeting Vice President Vance or his family.
