Salt Lake City: Authorities on Friday released surveillance footage of the suspect in the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, who was gunned down while attending an event at Utah Valley University on September 10.

At a press conference, Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason described the suspect’s movements, noting he was first seen lying prone in the top left corner of a building before running across to the far right, climbing down, and dropping off the edge. Watch the following video:

Investigators said the suspect left behind palm impressions, a shoe print, and potential DNA evidence in smudges. The individual is believed to have been wearing black pants, a black T-shirt featuring an American flag and eagle motif, and Converse sneakers with white soles. He was also seen wearing a baseball cap marked with a triangle.

“These are distinctive tells that will help in identifying the suspect,” Mason said. After fleeing the building, the suspect moved into a grassy area and then into nearby woods, where police later recovered a rifle.

Officials did not take questions but stressed that the details were being released “in the interest of transparency.” The FBI has offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest and noted a flood of public cooperation.

“We have not seen this volume of digital media tips since the Boston Marathon bombing,” an FBI spokesperson said.

The suspect’s identity remains unknown, and authorities continue to urge the public to come forward with information to help track down the individual believed responsible for Kirk’s killing.
