Washington DC: In a shocking revelation, Trump’s EPA Chief Lee Zeldin has accused the Biden administration of orchestrating a $20 billion scheme to funnel taxpayer money into left-wing activist groups under the guise of environmental justice and climate equity. Zeldin described the act as "tossing gold bars off the Titanic," referencing a video of a Biden EPA appointee admitting to rushing funds out the door before Inauguration Day.
Zeldin revealed that his team at the EPA uncovered an unprecedented financial arrangement in which the Biden administration transferred $20 billion to an external financial institution. This money was then distributed to only eight entities, which were tasked with funding non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and activist groups with minimal oversight.
"This scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history," Zeldin stated. "It was deliberately designed to push out an enormous sum of taxpayer money in a last-minute rush job, sidestepping accountability and transparency."
Zeldin stressed that the EPA’s financial practices under Biden need immediate correction, calling for an investigation by the U.S. Justice Department and the inspector general.
"Fortunately, my awesome team at the EPA has found the ‘gold bars,’" he declared. "This wasn’t just careless spending—it was a calculated effort to lock in billions of taxpayer dollars for partisan purposes."
The former EPA chief also demanded that the financial agreement be terminated immediately and that the funds be returned to the government.
"The days of irresponsibly shovelling boatloads of cash to far-left activist groups in the name of environmental justice are over," Zeldin asserted. As scrutiny over Biden’s climate policies and financial decisions escalates, this controversy could spark further investigations and political repercussions.
