Poochakkal: A Malayali youngster lost his life in a road accident amidst the raging floods in Oman. The deceased was identified as Abdullah Wahid (28), a native of Cherthala. He used to work in a private company in Barka.

As per the information given to the relatives, Abdullah met with the accident near Ibra, when he was on his way back from a visit to the city of Sur.    

The body will be brought to Cherthala after completing the formalities.

It is known that Abdullah was about to get engaged on February 16 and he was preparing for his return home. But he met with a fatal accident in between. 

Abdulla had last visited home two years ago. He is survived by his mother Bilkis and sister Wahida.
