Ajman: More than 100 families, including those hailing from Kerala, residing in a 30-storey building have been evacuated after a major fire broke out in the wee hours of Tuesday. Initial reports suggest, there are no casualities.
The fire broke out in the second tower of ‘Ajman One Towers’ apartment around 12 am. Families were evacuated within an hour.

The fire was effectively controlled and extinguished by civil defence and police officers, and no casualties have been recorded so far.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Brigadier Abdullah Saif Al Matrooshi, Director-General of Police Operations at Ajman Police, stated that a mobile police station was transported to the scene of the accident, where locals could register the loss of things and get certifications. The mobile station has also helped to secure the site, as per Khaleej Times.
