A Kerala businessman living in Ajman has won a 200-gram gold bar in Big Ticket’s October draw. He will share the prize with five friends.

A Kerala man living in the UAE has won a 200-gram gold bar in a Big Ticket draw, with five friends set to share the prize after their group entry was selected at random.
According to Gulf News, Brijaesh Madambi Bhaskaran, 44, is a businessman from Kerala who lives in Ajman. The group’s win came as a surprise, as the friends had randomly selected their ticket for the October weekly e-draw.
Bhaskaran said he was initially unable to believe the news. The six friends will divide the 200-gram, 24-karat gold bar among themselves.
Bhaskaran first learnt about Big Ticket through social media around three years ago and has continued participating in the draws in the hope of winning.
Although he has not yet decided what to do with his share of the gold, he said the group intends to participate again.
Three other winners also receive gold bars
Bhaskaran was one of four winners in the October e-draw. The other winners are Manikanta Adabala, 33, a service engineer from Andhra Pradesh; Aloha Abelgas, an assistant manager from the Philippines; and Jonathan Javed, originally from Pakistan, who has been living in Abu Dhabi for nearly 10 years.
Each winner received a 200-gram, 24-karat gold bar.
Big Ticket’s October promotion also offers a Dh25 million grand prize, with the winner scheduled to be announced during a live draw on November 3.
