Muscat: A Malayali student died in a car accident while returning home from school in Oman. The deceased is Alna Takin (6), a Class 2 girl at Indian School Al Seeb. She is the daughter of Takin Francis and Bhavya Varghese, natives of Palarivattom in Ernakulam. 

The accident occurred when Alna was returning from school in a car with her mother and two siblings. The car that they were traveling in toppled down after losing balance. Although the injured were taken to the hospital, Alna had already died.

The mother and siblings were not gravely injured in the accident.
