Gold prices vary slightly across major Indian cities today. Chennai recorded the highest rate for 24-karat gold at ₹15,438 per gram, while Delhi stood at ₹15,398. Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram recorded ₹15,383 per gram for 24-karat gold.
For 22-karat gold, Chennai again recorded the highest rate at ₹14,151 per gram, followed by Delhi at ₹14,116. Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram quoted ₹14,101 per gram. The 18-karat gold rate stood at ₹11,931 per gram in Chennai and ₹11,553 in Delhi, while the rate was ₹11,538 in the other listed cities.
Silver prices also differed across cities. Chennai, Hyderabad and Kerala recorded ₹2,601 per 10 grams, ₹26,010 per 100 grams and ₹2,60,100 per kg. Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bengaluru quoted ₹2,550 per 10 grams, ₹25,500 per 100 grams and ₹2,55,000 per kg.
