Gold prices in India edged higher on Wednesday, with 24-carat gold selling at ₹11,570 per gram, 22-carat at ₹10,606 per gram, and 18-carat at ₹8,678 per gram. The precious metal has shown volatility in recent days, dipping slightly earlier this week before rising again. Rates of 18, 22 and 24-carat gold increased by ₹1 per gram compared to Tuesday’s levels.
According to the GoodReturns website, the price of 24-carat gold rose by ₹10 in early trade on Wednesday, with ten grams of the metal trading at ₹1,15,700. Silver prices also moved upward, rising ₹100, with one kilogram selling at ₹1,40,100.

The price of 22-carat gold also rose by ₹10, with ten grams selling at ₹1,06,060. In Mumbai and Kolkata, ten grams of 24-carat gold were priced at ₹1,15,700, while in Chennai they stood higher at ₹1,16,090. In Delhi, the same quantity was valued at ₹1,15,850. For 22-carat gold, ten grams cost ₹1,06,060 in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, but were slightly higher in Chennai at ₹1,06,410 and in Delhi at ₹1,06,210.
