Educational technology company Byju’s on Monday said they acquired the US-based learning platform ‘Epic’ for $500 million.
This is the second major acquisition of the company in the US after they bought the educational gaming startup ‘Osmo’ in 2019.
‘Epic’ has a collection of more than 40,000 books. It focuses on children below 12 years old.
Byju’s is looking to expand its footprint in the US.
Byju’s had earlier this year acquired the coaching network Aakash Institute for nearly $1 billion.
