Kannur: The excise department seized a parcel carrying 70 LSD stamps from a post office at Koothuparamba here on Saturday. The parcel has been sent to the address of Paral native KP Sreerag. The person has been arrested.

The seizure was based on intelligence inputs received by the excise officials. According to the investigation team, the accused had ordered the narcotic drug online. 

Earlier too, the excise department had caught psychotropic drugs which were sent through the postal services. 

The investigation team said that a detailed investigation will be required to dig out more facts.
