Kozhikode: K.P. Shiny, a native of Palazhi, died after suddenly feeling unwell during a dance performance at a temple festival in Perumanna, Kozhikode.
The incident occurred during a nighttime celebration at Chirakkal Temple, where Shiny was part of a group of seven performers. About two minutes into the performance, she began to feel unwell. She left the stage and returned backstage before being taken to a private hospital in Palazhi.

However, she was declared dead before reaching the hospital.
Efforts to save her were unsuccessful.
