Thiruvananthapuram: The home department has initiated a major reshuffle in the Kerala Police's top brass. As part of this, Beverages Corporation (Bevco) MD Yogesh Gupta has been appointed to a new post as ADGP (police training).

It has been stated in the order that the new post is equal to the charge of headquarters which is currently held by ADGP Manoj Abraham. Headquarters DIG V S Shyam Sundar has been appointed as new managing director of Bevco.

Shoukathali who was conferred with IPS recently has been appointed as Anti-Terrorist Force SP. Shoukathali who investigated the TP murder case is currently part of the NIA.

Chaithra Teresa John was given the charge of Railway Police SP. Rahul R Nair who returned after central deputation has been appointed as SP of Kozhikode Central Crime Branch unit 3.

Anand R will take charge as headquarters additional AIG. K V Santhosh was posted as Malappuram Crime Branch SP and Kuriakose V U as Idukki Crime Branch SP.
