Kasaragod: A woman and her four-month-old baby girl were found dead at Muliyar in Kasaragod district on Friday evening. According to Adhur police, it is suspected that, the woman, Bindu (28) of Koppalam kochi near Muliyar, might have committed suicide after strangling her four months old daughter to death. However, her son is safe, the police said. Bindu was found dead hanging in her room. 

Bindu’s in-laws’ house is located in Idukki. However, her husband and his family have been living in Koppalam kochi for a long time. Adhur police suspects family issues to be the reason behind the dreadful act. The mortal remains  of the mother and daughter have been shifted to the Kasaragod general hospital morgue after inquest.
