Kochi: In a shocking incident, a 20-year-old woman was found with severe injuries at a house in Chottanikkara, near Kochi.

The woman was reportedly found with a rope tied around her neck and partially naked. Latest reports indicate that she is in critical condition.

According to reports, the woman was found by a relative who passed by her residence on Sunday afternoon. She was later transferred to a hospital in Kochi.

Police suspect that the woman may have been severely beaten. A person has reportedly been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
